Omnipresent Continues Global Expansion With Addition of CFO and APAC Lead

Two new remote hires will focus on scalability and internationalization

Omnipresent, a global employment services partner,  announced two significant additions to its fully remote team. Tucker Dearth joined the fast-growing company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help scale its upward trajectory through investments and acquisitions. Minh Vuhong is charged with leading Omnipresent’s growth plans in a brand new role as the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Launch Lead.

“We are pleased to add these two highly accomplished and energetic professionals to our team at Omnipresent as we continue through our next phase of growth,” said Matthew Wilson, Omnipresent Co-founder. “We are already serving 155 countries and with plans for strategic expansion that align with our clients’ goals, we are excited to tap into Tucker and Minh’s leadership skills and business acumen as we move forward.”

In his new role, Dearth will focus on Omnipresent’s goals of growth through new product development, geographic expansion, investments and acquisitions, as well as risk mitigation, fundraising and investor relations. He will be responsible for the company’s robust global financial operations to better support Omnipresent customers.

“With the acceleration of the global remote workforce in light of the pandemic, Omnipresent is well placed to continue to scale and expand our core product offerings,” Dearth said. “As we continue on this journey, I’m looking forward to supporting the product, R&D, along with the sales and marketing teams that will help build the infrastructure for exponential growth.”

Dearth has extensive experience in business and financial operations. He was co-founder and COO of CarePod, managing director for First Utility GmBH, and a vice president at Morgan Stanley in London, handling investments in portfolio companies. More recently, Dearth was CFO at Data Guard, a SaaS business focused on privacy and compliance solutions and headquartered in Munich with operations in Europe and the UK.

The Pull of Asia

Minh Vuhong joins the ever-expanding, fully remote Omnipresent team from Singapore to lead the company’s growth plans in APAC and support clients in the region. Vuhong has more than 12 years of experience in business strategy and investments with tech ventures and private equity firms. With his background in science and engineering from University of California, Berkeley, he has acted as a startup advisor, investor, founder, and consultant with companies such as Kearney in France, Casablanca in the US, and Qualgro Partners in APAC. As the new APAC Lead for Omnipresent, Vuhong will focus on leveraging the region’s economic strength and highly-educated talent pool.

“With its strong infrastructure, tech innovation and financial prowess, our goal is to see Singapore as a main hub for APAC,” says Vuhong. “We have a very ambitious plan in terms of growth in the region and are investing heavily in developing Asia-Pacific as one of Omnipresent’s main growth regions.”

For companies looking to find the best possible talent, they must look beyond their markets and towards a global workforce. “Finding talent locally has become incredibly competitive and the best talent is depleted very quickly,” continued Vuhong. “We understand hiring people a few thousand miles away can be tricky, but we have the local knowledge in the region, and around the world. We have access to a wealth of knowledge regarding compliance, taxes, payroll, benefits and so on that allows companies to feel supported when growing their teams. Our role, and strength, in Asia-Pacific is in offering guidance and working hand in hand with clients to help them not only with global remote work, but in helping them become global companies.”

We are delighted to have them on board.”

A US-national, Dearth will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and has worked in Germany, Singapore and the UK for major multinational companies. Vuhong is a French national with roots in Vietnam and has lived in the US, France and Singapore.
